Hostel Policies

Check in time is from 4PM to 11PM. Please note that as a small hostel, our reception closes at 12am (midnight). Check-in is not possible after this time! To allow for transportation delays, we recommend not making a reservation if you will be arriving in San Francisco later than 8pm. Of course, once you are here, you will be given a key and you can come and go as you please.

We have a 48-hour cancellation policy however, we will not charge for late cancellations if the canceled beds are successfully sold to other travelers. Cancellations less than 48 hours in advance of arrival date (midnight) will result in a minimum charge for the first night for each guest in the reservation. Guests who have canceled their reservation less than 48 hours in advance of the arrival date may inquire with the manager about a cancellation policy exception.
No-Show Policy:
No-shows without communication from the guest are charged a minimum charge for the first night for each guest in the reservation and a maximum of two nights if the reservation was for more than two nights.

Our dorms are mixed gender or Female Only. Please request this in your reservation request. We have a single private room (double bunk) but it has very limited availability.

No Onsite Parking At The Hostel. Use the Portsmouth Square Plaza Garage at 733 Kearny Street. The 24 Hour Rate is $38.
